Bridgestone Racing Academy Cars<\/p><\/div>\n

We know that racing is an expensive sport, and we know there are thousands of people who would love to race professionally. We know that we do not have the deep pockets required for this sport, and we also know that our son has a dream to race.<\/p>\n

Henry Neal is in pursuit of that dream.\u00a0 He completed high school early, on March 22, after taking his two final classes online.\u00a0 He did this so that on April 1, 2013, he could begin a six-month program at the Bridgestone Racing Academy in Bowmanville, Ontrario, Canada.<\/p>\n

The Bridgestone Academy\u2019s program is comprised of three elements: mechanics, driving, and customer service. Henry will learn how to setup a Formula car and how to maintain this car while obtaining more seat time as a driver. He will also learn how to serve the Academy clients who use the schools resources. Additionally, Henry will learn to live on his own as he shares an apartment with two fellow classmates in Peterbourgh, Ontario.<\/p>\n

Our goal for 2013 (other than his completing the Academy) is to provide Henry the opportunity to race an F1600. We have begun the process of contacting sponsors and searching for a race team that will sign Henry. Simultaneously, during this race season, Henry will also volunteer at the neighboring track, Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. He would very much like to assist any visiting teams with any race tasks they will allow him the opportunity to do.<\/p>\n

Our hope\u2014and our need\u2014is that someone will give Henry a chance to show that he can compete on the track and that he can be of assistance in the pits.\u00a0 Are you the race team that remembers what it is like to chase a dream.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
