The Dream

Henry, The Younger Years

Henry, The Younger Years

Henry’s love of cars started at a young age. He was introduced to racing at age four, during our annual August trip to The Mid-Ohio Sports Car Track to watch the Indy Cars. Henry did not grow up in a racing family, so for 7 years, it has been a constant learning process.

As he grew, Henry developed a desire to compete in go-kart racing, which his parents saw as the beginning of a new chapter in their son’s life. After participating in more than 75 races, Henry stated, “I want to shoot for the big dream”—the dream of professional racing.

Of course with dreams, there are obstacles. But overcoming challenges is a true indication of success. And in seven years of racing, Henry has overcome obstacles. As a 15-year-old in 2010, Henry made the move from junior racing to racing against adults. In 2012, he made the move to Formula cars under the instruction of the Bertil Roos Racing School.

The dream is alive today…and so are the challenges. Current challenges come in the form of a kart or car that does not run well, crashes, and mechanical problems. Neal Racing and its driver, Henry are committed to overcoming these and other challenges, always staying “locked in” on the dream.
